Healing work
Sally is EAGALA-certified and works with horses through a lens that recognizes their natural ability to attune to nervous system regulation, emotional congruence, authenticity, boundaries, and nonverbal communication, making them powerful partners in self-awareness and healing work. Through grounded interaction and observation, equine-assisted experiences can support the cultivation of emotional attunement, embodiment, relational awareness, and deeper connection to both self and others.
She is currently exploring how crystal singing bowl sound bath journeys, theta state activation, and the equine energetic container can support nervous system regulation and create conditions for deeper emotional processing, restoration, and healing, for both humans + horses alike.
Trail guide + instructor
Sally’s experience as a Wrangler began at Beaver Creek Stables in Colorado where she spent three summers leading rides through the Rocky Mountains. Beaver Creek Stables caters to a high-end, international guest demographic who values exceptional customer service and an authentic Western experience.
She currently works at White Stallion Ranch, a luxury family resort in Tucson, Arizona renowned for its exceptional riding program. As a Wrangler, she leads guests on both slow and fast rides across the ranch’s 3,000-acre desert property, including steep mountain passes and full-day rides through Saguaro National Park. Her role combines guest experience, horsemanship, and the daily care and management of over 150 horses alongside the Wrangler team.
In addition to leading rides, she has experience in both English and Western riding disciplines and has taught private and group beginner Western riding lessons designed to help new riders become comfortable with loping/cantering before participating in fast rides. Her instruction focuses on safety, balance, seat position, and developing clear, confident communication with the horse.
Throughout her life, Sally has maintained a deep love for nature, horses, and the community of people who share these passions. Her experiences underscore her lifelong devotion to the equestrian lifestyle and the natural world that supports it.
